The FDP was started at 4.05 pm. The topic ‘learning styles’ was selected for FDP in order to help both the faculty and the students in recognizing their methods of learning and how to make teaching and learning more effective. The session started with introduction of the topic. The following points were discussed.

  • Definition of learning style

  • Importance of learning styles in education

  • Advantages of knowing our learning style

  • Learning style models

  • Techniques to use learning styles effectively

  • Discussion about personal learning methods.

After the session, Principal Madam and faculty had given comments about the presentation and discussed about ways through which we can improve student’s outcome. Both faculty and M.Sc. 2nd year students actively took part in the discussions.
