On June 5, 2023, Akal College of Nursing, Eternal University organized a vibrant event to commemorate World Environment Day. The day was filled with various activities aimed at raising awareness about environmental conservation and fostering a sense of responsibility towards the planet. Students, Faculty, and Staff actively participated in the event, making it a great success.
One of the primary activities conducted was a campus cleaning drive. Around 100 students from 1st Year and 3rd Year B.Sc. Nursing came together to clean the campus premises, including classrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas. The objective was to promote cleanliness and hygiene while highlighting the importance of maintaining a clean environment for the well-being of all.
In addition to the cleaning drive, another essential activity undertaken was watering the plants. Participants took the initiative to water the plants on the college grounds, ensuring their optimal growth and vitality. This activity aimed to emphasize the significance of plants in maintaining ecological balance, improving air quality, and creating a visually pleasing atmosphere.
The World Environment Day event at Akal College of Nursing demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and provided a platform for students and staff to contribute towards a greener future.
