135 Km Journey from Chandigarh to Baru Sahib to Combat Drug Addiction

In an awe-inspiring display of determination and unity, a group of dedicated cyclists embarked on a 135 km journey from Chandigarh to Baru Sahib, carrying a powerful message of drug de-addiction. Today, we celebrate their triumphant arrival at Baru Sahib, where they were greeted with open arms and a heartfelt welcome.

A Noble Mission

This remarkable endeavor was not just a physical journey; it was a mission to spread awareness about the scourge of drug addiction that plagues our society.  Dr. Neelam Kaur, along with hundreds of students from Akal Academy and Eternal University – Nursing College, joined hands in a united front to take a solemn oath. They pledged to combat the menace of drug addiction and work tirelessly towards creating a healthier, drug-free society.

A Symbol of Hope

As the sun rises on this new day, we bid farewell to our courageous cyclists, who have left an indelible mark on our hearts. Their journey symbolizes hope, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of those determined to bring about positive change in our communities.

Gratitude and Unity

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved in this noble initiative, from the cyclists themselves to the organizers, supporters, and well-wishers who cheered them on every mile of the way. It is through collective efforts like these that we can address and overcome the challenges posed by drug addiction.

A Brighter Future

As we reflect on this inspiring journey, we are reminded that a brighter future is possible—a future free from the clutches of drugs. It begins with awareness, unity, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those affected by addiction.

The journey from Chandigarh to Baru Sahib was not just about covering kilometers; it was about covering ground in the fight against drug addiction. It serves as a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of collective action in creating a drug-free society.
